Manchester Marathon Fundraiser

On April 14th, Chris will be running his very first marathon in aid of Prevent ALL.

A reminder of what Prevent ALL raises money for, and the story behind the charity:

- Fund research for a preventative treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) the most common form of childhood cancer;

- Support children and their families as they undergo the long treatment for leukaemia and other blood cancers.

Following our youngest son, Tommy, being diagnosed with ALL at age 4, our eyes were opened to how tough the treatments are and the impact this has on children and their families.

We have been lucky, Tommy has responded well and tolerated all the treatment. Others are not so lucky and have more side effects and complications and other families not as fortunate to be able to cope.

Supporting the Institute of Cancer Research's work into finding a preventative treatment, so that one day children don't develop ALL is our mission.
